About Us

Last year, Eddie and Maritza Greene, the owners of Scoops Cafe spent two months in Nicaragua at a base called New Song Mission Nicaragua. Upon return, The Greenes realized the incredible transformation that was happening within the village Candelaria through New Song and began to think of ways to be a stateside support.

This dream turned into a small Cafe located in the heart of the high country Boone, NC. Scoops Cafe is now an outlet of support for not only New Song Mission Nicaragua but other local and world wide organizations. Our vision is to see Scoops Cafe’s support outreach expand in the years to come and see more Cafe’s planted throughout N.C.
